What to make with Madelinetosh Tosh DK (or any 8ply!)

There's a LOT to love about Tosh DK - and it's not just the amazing hand dyed colours.

Madelinetosh Tosh DK is a versatile, plump, woolly 100% superwash merino wool 8ply weight yarn. It's constructed of 4 plies of yarn twisted together, which knits and crochets into luxurious fabrics with wonderful stitch definition, perfect for gorgeous, squishy scarves, shawls and garments.

Spun in a mill in South Africa, Tosh DK is smoother than Tosh Merino Light. At the same time, it's just a touch uneven so the colour is slightly mottled in the skein. Once made up, these variations smooth and even out and give this beautiful yarn a quality of its own.

And don't forget, if you want to order any colours of Tosh DK that are not in stock, you can preorder them in our Tosh DK Dyed to Order listing here.
