Shipping Policy

During our Black Friday promotions, shipping of orders may be delayed due to the increased number of orders being processed and dispatched. We will do our very best to get your order on its way as soon as possible. We ask for your patience during this busy time.

General Shipping:

FREE shipping on orders over $200 in Australia and New Zealand (excluding orders that contain oversized items*).

Orders under $200$10.00 in Australia and to New Zealand (excluding orders that contain oversized items*)

Express Post - $16.50 in Australia, $21.50 to New Zealand.

We use Australia Post e-parcel and Sendle for our Standard shipping. Express Post parcels are sent with Australia Post. You can select either Standard or Express postage at the checkout.

Express Post refers to the speed that your order is delivered with Australia Post. Express Post does not mean that your parcel leaves our store on the same day. We will prioritise sending of your parcel but there may be many others in the queue ahead of you.

* Oversized items such as blocking kits, swifts etc have a note on their product page specifically advising they do not qualify for free postage. Postage on oversized items will be calculated and charged separately.

International shipping to countries other than Australia and New Zealand is available through Australia Post using their Standard International and Express Post International service. Prices will be calculated at checkout based on the destination and weight/dimensions of the package.

Preorders

Items listed as preorder and dyed to order are not currently in stock. Although we make every effort to provide an accurate date of arrival, it is an approximate date only and items in your order may be slightly early or late.

Other items that are ordered at the same time as a preorder will be held and shipped together with the preorder item once it's ready. Please process a separate order if you would like these items shipped immediately.

Tracking

Once your order is dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information which can be viewed via the carrier website.

Sendle 

It's not unusual for expected delivery dates to be missed. If your parcel has not been received within a reasonable period of time after the due delivery date, you should lodge an enquiry with the carrier. Once your parcel has left Skein Sisters we have no control over when or how it's delivered. 

We take every care in preparing our orders for shipping but are not responsible for parcels once they have been lodged with the carrier. 

Store Pickups 

We offer a Store Pickup service which you select at checkout. When your order is ready for you to pick up you will receive a notification via SMS. 

Paid orders - Your order will be held for 14 days only. After 14 days the items will be returned to stock. If you know you cannot collect your order within the 14-day period, please call or email us. You will have one month from the original notification date to collect your purchase. If, after one month, your order has not been collected, the items will be returned to stock.

Unpaid orders - Your order will be held for 48 hours. If the items remain unpaid after 48 hours they will be returned to stock.

Unpaid backorders - Your order will be held for 7 days from the time you receive the SMS notification. If a backorder remains unpaid after 7 days, the items will be returned to stock.
