Have fun making the the Aurora Cabin Triangle shawl! Designed by Stephen West, it features an eye-catching geometric pattern that's easier than it looks!
Only one colour is used at a time while slip stitches and cable techniques give the shawl its fascinating pattern. You select five colours of fingering weight wool and stripe them together for this sideways triangle.
We've made it easy for you and put together a kit for the original version of the kit plus the gorgeous pink version that was knit using our Skein Sisters Fabulous Sock yarn by the uber-talented Scott (@cup_kween on Insta) as a test of the pattern for Stephen West.
Scott says, "The yarn is both soft and delightful to work with whilst being durable and has amazing stitch definition which makes it perfect for this shawl. I used between 70-75g of each skein - which means I could have gone larger. It was a fun knit and kept me busy for a month in the middle of winter. I highly recommend you knit this pattern, the colour combinations are endless."
