by Skein Sisters Split Ring Stitch Markers are perfect for marking the beginning of rounds, pattern repeats, increases and decreases, and other stitches or construction points in your knitting projects. These versatile stitch markers may be used on the needle, like regular closed stitch markers, or anywhere where you need to mark a stitch or place within the fabric of your project.
They’re made of metal so are highly durable, long-lasting and easy to use. To use in your working round or row: slip onto your needle. To mark a place in your fabric (e.g. for button positioning, increases, decreases etc): slip the point around a strand of yarn or a stitch and turn to secure the marker. You can also use them to work small cables in place of a cable needle, or to catch dropped stitches.
Also great for crochet: use them to secure your stitch while you're not working on your project, or to mark any significant points in your project - you can slip them on or off marked stitches whenever you like.
