The Daisy Days Festival Bucket Hat designed by Kirsten Wilson is a fun and playful design, perfect to wear to your next outdoor event!
The hat can be made in any colour combination, and can easily be modified to suit your needs, but to get you started we've put together these yarn kits which are perfect for our hot weather as they're made up of 100% cotton Fiddlesticks Finch. Needing just 4 balls, choose one of our gorgeous kits or put together your own colours...you could even crochet a rainbow hat by joining and switching the main colour!
Suitable for beginner to intermediate crocheters. Makes an adult sized hat.
Each kit includes 4 balls of Fiddlesticks Finch yarn (2 for main and 1 each of contrast). The colourway Daisy, shown in our sample, is crocheted in Fiddlesticks Finch in 6216 Sky Blue for the main colour, with 6218 Mustard and 6201 White for the daisies. You can choose which of the contrast colours are the flower petals, and which are the centre of the flower.
Also required (not included): 4.5mm crochet hook, tapestry needle.
The pattern must be purchased separately and can be found here on Ravelry.
Pattern tip: the pattern specifies that the daisy squares should be whip-stitched together with a tapestry needle. Try using crocheted slip stitches to join them instead.
