Use this cute Childs' Hoodie Pattern and a worsted weight / 10ply yarn to knit this lovely little hooded jacket for a 1-3 year old toddler or young child. Choose from wool based yarns for winter, or for warmer weather try it in 10ply cotton Fiddlesticks Finch or wool-cotton blend Bellissimo Linden.

- The hoodie is knitted flat and seamed.
- Knitted in simple garter stitch
- Neckline and front bands are picked up and knitted along the front edges.
Three sizes to fit: 1, (2, 3) years old.
Actual finished chest measurements approx: 48, (56, 63)cm.
Finished length approx: 26, (30, 36)cm.
Be sure to check your gauge to achieve the correct sizing.
Gauge: 18 sts and 30 rows to 10cm on stocking stitch, using 5mm needles. If you have fewer stitches in 10cm use smaller needles. If you have more stitches in 10cm use larger needles.
What you need to make the hoodie:
- worsted / 10ply yarn, 50g balls:
- Colour A : 2, (2, 3)g (blue in image)
- Colour B : 1, (2, 2)g (green in image)
- Colour C : 2, (3, 3)g (orange in image)
- 2 pairs 5mm knitting needles. Needles can be straight or circular as the hoodie is knitted flat.

- tapestry needle for seaming and sewing in ends
- Clips are useful for holding seams together
- Toggle fasteners or buttons
