Noro Yukata is a gorgeous colour changing 100% wool 5ply / sport weight yarn that comes in a large 200g ball. Self-striping and featuring Noro's signature single strand with natural uneveness, Noro Yukata can be used for fabulous sweaters, ponchos and other garments or accessories.
A yukata (in Japanese 浴 衣, literally: 浴 bath and 衣 dress) is a 'bath dress' or 'bathing robe'. Such a cotton summer kimono serves as an uncomplicated, lighter and everyday variant of a kimono that is worn often at summer festivals with fireworks. The colours are truly exquisite.
Yukata is a delicate silk, wool & nylon blend which is the perfect fine weight to work up at a gauge of 23-26 stitches per 10cm on 2.25-3.75 mm (US 3-5) needles. The long gradient colours will fly off your needles as you keep going to get to the next one!
