Private Classes at Skein Sisters
Need expert help or advice with a tricky knitting or crochet problem? Book a private class with one of our experienced teachers. Lessons are run face-to-face in our shop training room during shop hours. Max 2 people

Do you need some one-on-one time with a knitting or crochet problem? We offer private lessons for one or two people with one of our experienced teachers to help you get through that tricky pattern or teach you a new technique.
Private classes can have a maximum of two people.
Private classes are not available outside regular store opening hours.
Cost:
- Single class participant: $75 for 30-60 mins, $35 per half hour for every 30 mins thereafter.
- Two class participants: $130 for 30-60 mins, $60 per half hour for every 30 mins thereafter.
- A lesson with a child (under 16 years old) must have an parent or carer in attendance and is charged at the single person class rate.
To book:
- Go to the drop down menu to find the times that we have available for private classes this month. Simply make you booking by choosing the time that suits in the drop down menu, and completing your order.
- Include some information in the comments about what you'd like to achieve or learn in the lesson, the problems you're having and the pattern you're working on (if that's what you'd like help with)
- If you'd like two people to come to the lesson, please let us know in the comments and we will invoice you for the balance.
Terms and conditions:
- Full payment is required on booking to confirm your spot.
- If your class is postponed or cancelled you can use the amount paid to transfer to another event/activity, use as a store credit, or be issued a full refund.

Cancelling a class
- Up to 7 days before the class - you are able to cancel, postpone or swap a class up to 7 days prior to the class date and can receive a full refund.
- 7 days-24 hours before the class - we are able to offer a credit but we cannot guarantee a full refund unless another booking fills your spot.
- Less than 24 hours before the class - no credit or refund available.

Finally successful with socks

I’ve tried making socks in the past but have never been successful. Because Jane explained things so clearly, I am on my way to making my first toe up sock. Thank you!
