Triss baby blanket by Agnieszka Wojtkowiak is an easy blanket knitted in rows in three colours. The texture of the blanket is created by a triangular stocking stitch/garter stitch pattern within the stripes. The pattern is for one size only but you can easily adjust the width and length of your blanket.
The blanket pattern works up quickly and is suitable for advanced beginner knitters, and beyond. As long as you can knit and purl, you'll be able to make the textured pattern. Experienced knitters will enjoy the simplicity of this blanket pattern.
Techniques used in the pattern include:
- Stocking stitch
- Garter stitch
- Casting on, binding off, and finishing

Finch is a 10ply / worsted weight cotton, which knits up quickly, is beautifully soft and is a perfect yarn for beginner knitters. It's also machine washable, so is a wonderful choice for blankets for babies and young children. Plus your blanket will be incredibly soft and look amazing.

Tools required (not included):
- 3.5mm knitting needles. We recommended using a long circular needle (80cm and above) for this project
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle for sewing in ends
Finished dimensions: approximately 80cm x 100cm after blocking. Easily adjust the width or length by casting on more stitches or knitting more rows.
